It's really amazing that this Live Journal account still exists! It's about time that I write something down at least so that I feel better even if I only have about 5 people on my Friend's list and none of who read this. I am currently content with my no school, no hockey life. It's been pretty relaxing - running every day with the twins, working 3-4 times a week for four hours a shift at Helmcken Market and of course, my brand new "flip" phone. It's a beauty but a little bit confusing because there is a screen and controls on both sides. It's a bit bigger than an ipod nano but just as pretty.
It comes with a 2.0GB mini memory disk for movies, music, etc. which is a lot for a phone. One of the coolest thing is the case it comes with - a leather flip case that somehow generates 6.5 more hours of talk life on your phone when you snap it in. Haven't figured that one out just yet.
The summer looks pretty awesome for the rest of July and August. I'm not going to be home in August much at all with house sitting the first week of August, heading to Winnipeg (unfortunately) for Senior Nationals and then hopefully off to San Francisco with the Vikes Field Hockey team. What seems most appealing to me now, though, is that this weekend Dan and are I heading up to Tofino to take surfing lessons! We are staying at the Paddler\'s Inn and then apparently the surf school, Pacific surf School, is two minutes away. I'm very excited to be at the beach, out of my house and most importantly....be surfing!!
It looks like the summer is finally here in terms of the sun and I plan on getting out there and enjoying it. For now, though, it's off to work and then maybe I'll be able to have some money for all these things I keep buying.
