Such a bizarre moment to make my mind write - I mean it's in the middle of quite possibly the worst episode of BSG ever, and it's never referred to again in the entire series, but my brain said, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if...."

oh poor flawed Lee. Never living up to his own expectations nor letting himself off the hook for mistakes. I remember when I first saw this episode being surprised at him reaction and yet understanding the complicated place it came from. Nothing's ever easy with Lee, is it.

Poor Lee. Black Market was an awful episode and that was down to the writing but I totally get Lee's reaction here.

I did to start a fic about Gianne and the baby being alive in the fleet and Lee finding them but didn't get very far with it.

There's one on ff.net where the baby is in the fleet that's actually pretty good, but I can't think of the name just now.

It actually just hit me how much this storyline parallels Kara's acceptance of motherhood. How much a roll parenthood played in the themes of BSG.
