[Sunday Evening]

Mar 19, 2006 18:37

Lee hated Sunday evenings as they were the harbingers of doom known as "school starts up again tomorrow." He sighed and went to open some of the many unopened letters from his mother. Dear Lee, They're coming--, he read before he heard a sharp knock at his door.

He answered it and was surprised to see three Colonial Fleet officers staring down at him.

"Are you Lee Adama?" one asked, his voice crisp.

"That's me," he replied, confused but standing alert.

Another officer looked furtively behind him. Lee pondered what this visit could be about before he felt his arm pricked by a needle.

He flinched and stared in horror at the officer who had addressed him by name. "You will come with us willingly, Mr. Adama, for questioning. Do not attempt to resist."

"My father-" were the first words out of his mouth before a dreamy quiet overtook him, the sedative working easily into his bloodstream.

"The commander is most anxious to see you," said another officer. And everything went black.

The officers took an inventory of the contents in his room and packed up most of it to be shipped back with the boy. The third man left a voice message and a letter* in the mailbox for the principal. They departed swiftly into the night.

[[ooc: Lee will be back next weekend to say his goodbyes, do the radio one last time with John, and then he will be gone in a galaxy far, far away as his mun does her best to battle the perils of new RL challenges that keep her from full time internet-ing. (woe!)]]

* Dear Principal Washburn,

It has come to our attention that an android terrorist kidnapped and interrogated Lee Adama while studying at Fandom High and subsequently came into Colonial Space with harmful intent. While the terrorist has left our space without causing any damage, we consider this to be a serious issue of planetary security. Due to this situation, Adama is to be removed from Fandom High at once and returned to his home planet, Caprica.

Payment for what remains of his tuition plus miscellaneous expenses are attached as well as the key for the boy's room.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
