Well hello live journal. It's been a long time. You've changed...
But today, lo! Today is a day off work! And still I wake up at five in the morning ready to pound the life into bread dough and make tasties.

So... things, things. Things aren't so bad. No sign of the dread pirate despite a couple of storm warnings. We're apparently getting a new flatmate tomorrow so that'll be interesting, and Del'll be back which'll make the house sound like people live in it again. Cos wow, Del, it's been quiet without you.
Me and Helena are heading home for Christmas soon enough, and today- when she wakes up- we shop. Yes, braving London Christmas shopping season... I can hardly wait... But before that we have another appointment with social services to make sure everything is going well and there will be Forms. But we will trek on bravely through the thick and predictable undergrowth of bureaucracy and we will prevail in time for a late lunch of bagels, because I'm in a bagely mood.
Then I plan to kidnap a pretty blond and take her far far away, deep into the land of Mexican restaurants. Because we're Mexicans, not Mexican'ts.
