YAY! Visions of Lee in tux collecting trophy... Why are they making us wait so long to vote though? I couldn't see the exact date from which we can vote? Or am I just not looking properly?

Have made note to vote. There is an article in the Sun on line website that ALW is in talks about doing a Christmas Special with all Joseph and Maria finalists.

I thought the Christmas special with all of the Marias and the Josephs was a done deal rather than only talks!

But apart from the voting, the really interesting point is the confirmation that there are indeed "exciting plans" re major celebration, or celebrations, next year re the lord's birthday! There should therefore be something around the 22nd of March. And possibly not just in this country! The 50th birthday concert was at the Royal Albert Hall. I don't know if it was televised or not (probably will be this time if not then), but it was made available on DVD!

But who would be likely to perform what?

Well Lee has got to feature after all the readies he's just brought in for the lord! Should just about pay for the party!

I would have liked to have seen Lee take part in an American honorary concert too, which must also be a possibility, albeit not on the same day. But having to be at the Adelphi practically every day is a bit of a limitation! Coming in on what seems to have been a bit of an ALW/Josh Groban mutual appreciation society, may be a problem too!

The date of his 50th birthday concert was actually the 7th April, so any concert this time may not necessarily be March either. 7th April was also an odd day of the week... Tuesday(!) And his birthday (22nd) next year actually falls on the Saturday. But is it only me who thinks that it is not impossible that "holiday" dates may not all have necessarily been of Lee's choice for personal reasons. Or was it too early then for likely dates re other things to have been set?
