Accidentally formatted drive now resolved with Active@ partition recovery (and much help from deathboy - thanks everyone else for all your offers of help.
Well *that* put something of a spin on my 'relaxing' 3 days off... :/
What I didn't mention was that without that drive, there would have been no chaos engine gig on 30th March (or a very different one if at all).
Now I'm going to drill several hundred holes in a wall to see if I'm more proficient at manual labour. watch me hit a mains cable...
