Bouquet & Anime
It's been a year. I'm not sure if it feels like time flies or if it's been a long year. I've been busy these past few months, so these past few months kind of get away from me, and before I realise it, it's already close to Hallowe'en. But anyway...
The rest of the post is all about anime. Lots of new anime to look forward to in 2025.
The teaser for Wind Breaker season 2 is out (link). Season 2 will air in April 2025, which is a lot quicker than I had expected. I guess season 2 has already been planned even before season 1 aired.
Two of Wayama Yama's manga, Karaoke Iko! and Muchuu sa, Kimi ni., are getting a TV anime from Doga Kobo (teaser). Since both manga only lasted for one volume, I'm guessing the TV anime will be in an onmibus format. A lot of people are speculating on whose voices they are hearing in the teaser. I'm pretty sure Ono Kensho will be in Muchuu sa, Kimi ni.. I feel like I heard Nakamura Yuichi's voice in the Karaoke Iko!, but a lot of people seem to guess it's Ono Daisuke, which makes sense since whoever is going to voice Kyouji will have to sing. No news yet on when the anime will be released.
Syundei's BL manga Ganbare! Nakamura-kun is also getting a TV anime adaptation (teaser). I've never read the manga, though I've known about it because I used to keep an eye on the magazine it serialised in, i.e., Opera. Nakamura Asumiko's Doukyuusei series and its many sequels and spin-offs were also serialised on Opera, along with basso's (i.e., Ono Natsume) BL manga. Anyway, Ganbare! Nakamura-kun will air in 2025.
Finally, director Watanabe Shinichiro and MAPPA are back with a new original sci-fi action anime titled Lazarus (trailer). It was announced quite a while ago, and then there was nothing for a long time -- till now. Judging by the trailer, it's familiar territory for Watanabe Shinichiro, and the direction of the trailer has his fingerprints all over it. The anime is scheduled for 2025.

Coffee's hip hop dance manga Wandance is getting a TV anime in 2025.
Director Umetsu Yasuomi is teaming up with studio Shaft for a new original anime titled Virgin Punk, to be released in 2025 (trailer). The trailer looks a lot less like what you would expect from Shaft and a lot like what you would expect from the director in question. I don't think it's Kite 3.0, but it looks pretty close.
Chūzenji-sensei Mononoke Kōgiroku: Sensei ga Nazo o Toite Shimaukara. is also getting a TV anime in 2025. This is a spin-off/prequel manga to Kyougoku Natsuhiko's novel series, Hyakki Yakou. ANN has more information on it.
