Been sleepwalking through this world called reality lately while a part of me is in hibernation.
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab has released their Hallowe'en 2023 collection. While I don't buy fragrances, BPAL's descriptions of their products appeal to my inner goth. This year they are releasing Nightmare Novellas, a collection of perfumes inspired by Drew Rausch's illustrations "for spooky stories that never were".
Watched Wednesday -- it's seasonal harmless fun.
Played a few interactive fiction:
Babyface: Body horror with sound. The writing in the latter half is quite good.
The Good Ghost: "A wholesome haunt in five acts." Nothing too scary. The reveal at the end is quite brilliant.
Night Guard / Morning Star: A young woman becomes a night guard at the gallery where her self-centered mother's artwork are being exhibited.
