Heard that the Nov 30th (2014) Tokyo Ghoul event was a riot for the fangirls. Considering Miyano-kun was at the event, it was only to be expected; having Toyonaga, Sakurai, Nakamura and Asanuma there also helps a lot -- poor Hanae-kun. Besides, ever since the finale in the Tokyo Ghoul manga and certain revelation in :re (and one particular instance in a magazine), Tsukiyama/Kaneki is gaining momentum fast. A favourite artist of mine has also done a bunch of gorgeous fanarts for those two. Shipping notwithstanding, I like the dynamic between these two characters.
It's kind of amusing to listen to Hanae-kun's voice now that I've found out about a certain tidbit concerning his work.
He plays the main character in a recently released BL game called Pigeon Blood under a pseudonym, and he's the uke throughout the entire game. This is probably his first BL role, and the sample tracks on the website make me blush a little.
