Ahh the 4th of July; A time when we celebrate our countries freedom from England’s tyranny. Isn't our country wonderful? We're not fighting in any wars, everyone has a job, and every child is getting a decent education. No one thinks that the government has too much power or that it's heading towards being a totalitarian dictatorship. Certainly not. Oh, and guess what else? We have the freedom of speech and religion! Especially at school! Gee, isn't America great?

Did you know: A law has been passed down from the supreme court saying that public employees acting on the course of their duties have no first amendment right. MEANING, THEY DON'T HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH! How is that fair? Is this really the America that our Forefathers fought for? Hell no.
The accretion of fundamental freedoms is being stolen from people without them even knowing it. And if you don't like it, FIGHT BACK!!! The government has only as much power as we allow it to have. I realize that no government is perfect, but ours just seems to be getting farther and farther away from the values and freedoms that we originally fought for.
