I had a really, really good weekend. I am a happy, happy Ellen. I played one of the best shows we've played in a while, bonded a lot with Ana, got to know one of her friends who is exactly like me except a lot cooler, wandered about cool places in Ann Arbor, received good advice from Ana the wise, felt a lot more secure about college/the present/the future, felt a lot better about my relationship with Alex Morgan than I have for at least a month, went naturing with my family, didn't do a damn bit of work, Christmas shopped, ate delicious Christmas desserts, loved the cold, got a nice new coat, bought peppermint tea, and saw my brother. Basically, I'm feeling a very good strain of Christmas joy!

Oh, it all started when I wore my favorite flannel.
