Rambling...

When hundereds of years ago, there was a conception of the idea that every 9 months, all those 22 and under would take 3 months off, did they realize nothing good could come of it? What summer does is provide us with enough free time to realize way too much we shouldn't have to. All thats happened for anyone I know over the summer was lines were divided, guns were drawn, forces came out charging. Everyones seperated not of the haves, or the have nots, but the whats and the what ifs. It seems like any social concept I've occured this summer was those enlightened enough to realize maturity is upon us, the whats, and those who believe they can be kids forever. Why do I chose the see two sides, I don't, but... this is all really stupid. I found a ticket stub today of a Cinderella Story, and I just thought, wouldn't it be great if people weren't so moronic and phobic of difference and change that I could walk out and be like, I saw a Cinderella Story and instead of laughing I'd be asked how it was. This is a moronic hypothetical sitatuion, but it comes to the fact that people take themseleves so seriously. If people didn't care so much about image, and cared more about the truth that we're all really as insecure as anyone else on the inside. We put up walls of clothing only you can wear, or moods that aren't just categorized as jolly, but we're all so alike. We crave the same things. Acceptance, love, companionship. But instead of helping each other acheive what we desire we push each other away, because apparently, every person we pass by is one step closer to our perfect lives, and our perfect selves. But we need other people, we need help, everyone does. This wasn't entirely pointless, I think this was needed. People need to spend more time with other people, and people need to see that they are unique, but so much the same.
