Okay, so last year you all should remember what I asked for Christmas, and most of you did it with a few variations. This year I'll be most specific.
This year you should either....
1. Donate money to either UNICEF, Christian Children's Foundation, or Heifer International. I don't want to see money go to ANYTHING in the United States! We have enough money.
2. Do something special, big, for someone around you that wouldn't expect it of you. Someone who maybe you don't get along with on a regular basis. An example would be if Lisa did something super nice for her brother, enough so that he actually noticed the gesture (which might need to be big, cause he's oblivious and conceded, cause he expects somethings as if their not special at all, just things that SHOULD be done for him)
3. Help out at Assisi Animal Shelter for 3 days this month, or another non kill shelter for animals.
4. Go to an old folks home and help out. Talk with those who are living there, because most of them are lonely and just want someone young and new to tell all their stories to that have gotten old to everyone else. They have some very interesting things to say if you listen.
So here's my list. Each item can be duplicated by lots of people without me feeling like I got a lot of the same gift. And yes, I will be buying you all gifts still, but please, do these things as my gift, and put a comment on this post to let me know how it went. Use as much detail as possible.
I'd love to write more, cause I have lots to talk about, but I have to get to bed desperately.
