Yearbooks!
Yay! I went to Barton today to get my yearbook. It was fun. I got there early, so I sat on a bench at the park down the street for a bit with Kristy! I love talking to her. She's so awesome. Anyways, then I went in the school when it was lunch time and picked up my yearbook and then went to the caf to see Paula and some other people. Layla signed my yearbook. I love her SOOO much! She's amazing, and I'm so sad that I didn't get to know her sooner and better. What I do know of her, I absolutely adore. She's so special. She signed my book, and when I read it, I was so sad. I almost cried. I had to give her a hug. Then I had to write in hers and I had no idea what to write. I was just thinking of all the things to say to her, and I just couldn't help but get teary-eyed. Sigh. I miss Barton. I miss all of my friends. I just miss last year. It was so great being back there today, even if it was just for a while. But, I love Mac too, don't get me wrong. I love everything about Mac. It's just different from Barton, more solitary. I can't just walk down the hall and find all my friends standing in front of their lockers. Some days I don't see any of my friends at all. It sucks, but at the same time, I know that it will change. In a year or two, when the classes are smaller and I can actually get to know all of my classmates' names, I know that I'll get to know some of them as people and become their friend. I can't wait.
