A quick check-in of things...if that makes any sense at all...
Yeah, so it's been a little bit since my last update. I've been busy, I have an excuse. We've been doing all kinds of things here lately! Been to another festival (Awa dance!!), been taking in some night views of Kobe (absolutely beautiful), and now I'm staying in my temporary housing at college (no longer living with the Ikushima family, sadly...). Asuka came with me to Kyoto to see me off and then I rode here with several other students. Everyone's really cool! Met a few guys from Germany and a girl from Australia already. Quite a lot of diversity, eh? This week will be busy with orientation, that's for sure. Got a lot to do, registering for classes, learning the Japanese class software, opening a bank account, meeting the host family, etc. It should be cool. Asuka's gonna help give the Japanese language placement test this week, so I'll get to see her then and then we're planning on going out to eat together for dinner. Should be great!
Anyways, I guess that's all I got for now. Sorry, no pictures this time, not on my laptop at the current time. I'll try to make an update soon with pics and more interesting things. Take it easy, everyone!
