Well, I suppose I ought to update this thing for once, hahaha. Past couple weeks have been interesting, to say the least.
It's too late to really say what all happened over Thanksgiving, so I won't go into that. Moving on to the more recent stuff...
This past weekend has probably been the main highlight of the past while, I think. Friday evening was...well, that was something. Came back from dinner, after which Michelle commenced to 0wnzing me at Frequency, hahaha. We had some really close games, but overall, she won a lot more than I did. Good stuff! Then later, starting at 10 PM, our room fell under the rules of "The Crown." Basically, Zach found a Burger King crown and a list of rules inside his most recent issue of Maxim and well, we decided to have some fun with that. Whoever had the crown was in charge of pretty much everything. Whatever they said went...unless, of course, one of us would usurp the king ourself or rise in a coup d'etat against him as a group. Granted, that still left the problem of who would get the crown, but that would be quickly solved. All in all, it was some good fun. We all got our chance to be king, at some point or another, so it made for some interesting times. I'd be willing to bet it's gonna happen again sometime soon, hahaha.
Saturday was overall just a great day, I think. Slept in, chilled around here for a while and then went over to Parker-Adams to join Ross and Matt in making some noise! It was a great session. I think we were all definitely "on" that day, so we wound up with some good jams and a few great ones. I'm always amazed when I forget how awesome a feeling it is to make music with others. I mean, I'm not claiming to be good, but it's just a great feeling to make enjoyable music and to be able to say "We did that" afterwards, or, as Matt and I exclaimed after I.N.A.M., "DAMN!!!" :)
After that, returned here, went to see what my good friends Shinichi and Maki were up to, and they invited me to eat with them, so I got to have some genuine Japanese cooking. And, wow, it was soooo freakin' GOOD. Wound up staying with them til almost 2 that morning, so that was my Saturday evening. Good times with friends, all around :)
That's the majority of the stuff I'll report for now. I know I'm posting less and less here at the Latitudes and Attitudes lately, but maybe that'll changed soon after the next couple weeks. But, I digress. Thanks for reading! Good luck to all in the next week, if I don't post again!
Fins up!
