It's going to be 2005 in a few hours and I'm off to a party in Paris to watch as the clock ticks away into a brand new year. I'm thankful for everything that has happened this year, both the bad and the good, because there is always something to be learned from the bad. *rolls eyes* You're just so charming and sweet. You know what they used to do? Tape my recitals and plays.. but focus ONLY ON ME, even though I was just a twig. They didn't even know who played the lead. It was so embarassing.

You're talking about yourself now, right? Alright, I want to see those tapes. Badly. I mean, we're talking about Virginie Ledoyen as a twig. (And parents are most of the time the definition of embarrassment. It frightens me. Please don't ever do that to your daughter!)

They are so embarassing that you don't evevn understand. (If I ever even think about doing that, I give you the power to [insert horrible torture here]. you have my word *grins*)

But somehow the words 'charming' and 'sweet' make a better match with you. Oh, but I will. When it comes to finding embarrassing movies I'm the ultimate master. (You shouldn't have said that. Now I'm wishing that you'll embarrass your daughter (poor girl) so you can meet my mother. Because that's horrible torture in my world. She'll probably love you though. Sigh.)

I couldn't compare with your adorable smile. One flash of it and I think my mother would be smitten. Oh I'm sure your mother can't be that bad. But there is no way in the world I would intentionally embarass my daughter. That would be a little too traumatizing. Not just for her, but for me. Can you even imagine? *shudders*
