I'm in a good mood today. I've been looking for musicians to play with and Amber suggested I post an add on Craig's list, so I did. Then, on a whim, I posted a personal add. I got much better response to both than I was expecting. Now, between dates and jam sessions I'm not going to be able to keep up with my schedule. I had no idea a violinist would be in such high demand. I've got jazz bands, celtic musicians, blues players, classic rock people, folk musicians, and experimental singers trying to track me down. It's a good feeling to be in demand, but I definitely wasn't expecting the response I got. Like 10 people in one day. I even have somebody I'm playing with this Wednesday. That was quick. Anyway, I'm real excited, and I had response to my personal, too. She was pretty hot, too. Maybe things are looking up. The server is still down here at work. I'll have to find some programming books to read or something, I suppose, so I don't start searching for quarry dump trucks and hopi kahcina dolls on the internet.
