[Judging by that yawn he just made over the journals, your voice may have just woken him up, Richard.]

Interesting songs?

[Whoops, now he feels guilty. He hadn't meant to inflict his own insomnia on anyone else.]

I'm sorry, Leo... did I wake you?

Not entirely, I was sleeping with my journal open. [on his face] Are you having trouble sleeping, Richard?

You could say that. It's probably just the heat-- I'm used to living with the breezes off of Gral Lake, as I said before. I suppose I still haven't quite gotten used to the summer weather here.

[The sound of books-- or rather piles of books being dislodged in the background.]

A cooler climate then. But that's understandable-- it has been rather stuffy, hasn't it?

Yes, it has, but at least the rain that we had over the past few days has helped somewhat. With any luck, we'll get more like that.

The humidity wouldn't bother you then?

Ah...then again, you did live near the lake before.

Not as much as the heat. But now that you mention it, going to the lake here might not be a bad idea at all...

Not at all. But it's a little sparse in living accommodations, isn't it?

Not to stay; I meant just for a swim to cool down.

Of course. It wouldn't be a viable option right now though, I'd assume.

Not at this hour, unfortunately. I'd be more likely to get lost in the woods than I would to reach the lake.

So we're back to the first question. [hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm] I can't say I know any terribly interesting songs, though.
