hey all. It's been a while, yeah? My bad, of course. Some stuff happened that made me close down all channels of communication and crawl into my shell for a bit, but I'm taking peeks out again, now.
Biggest part of that was getting a new job. Not a good time of year to pick retail, but it was easy to get into, and a good place to start. But I'm working my ass off for most of the next 20 days straight, so most of the time, I'm just reading a little and sleeping.
And writing some. Tying up some loose ends in fic, working on one or two new things. Haven't managed to find any more shows to watch, though I keep somehow stumbling across dreadful or at least unsatisfying movies and wanting to 'fix' them. Maybe I'll manage to finish something soon.
But for those who wish to know: yes, I'm working on Contraventions #3. And the finale of E&A. A little pirates, some vampires, and something original, called "Cade's Camelot".
I've missed everyone and their stories and squee and opinions on the world. It's good to be back - even if I'm not quite all the way there, just yet - and to celebrate, I'm doing the holiday love meme, via the lovely luna-k and wisteria_. I'm here, somewhere; make your own!
