(no subject)
have been awake all night with a migraine. Have an appointment in two hours at one end of the city and a trip to the specialist three hours after that, all the way back across town.
I don't do real life crap in my journal much but I'm fucking miserable right now. Someone write something for me? Angstysex or sexyangst with pilots in it? Because one of the things I did to distract myself from pain in the last six hours was read forums WAY too much and I am suddenly overwhelmed with how apparently stupid / stubborn / unoriginal it is to 'ship Kara/Lee and how dull it evidently is to want to write or read something with a spark of hopeful romance in it in the context of such a grim show.
Plus I have a good storyline developing for Five Futures #2: Tangent and I can't work on it because REAL LIFE SUCKS MORE THAN EVEN HIATUS.
I want to go back to bed. Instead I have to catch a train.
PS: plus I won't be seeing Serenity till Thursday and as I've never seen firefly, I cannot even join in anticipatory squee. Total fandom virgin in this instance.
