You're American, there's nothing African about you.
I mean, yeah, if you're talking about where your great grandparents came from, i guess that's ok. But in that sense no one but the native Americans are 'real' Americans.
However you don't get to be proud to be African. Africa isn't your mother land, it's not your 'home'. I mean were you born in Africa? Do you live in Africa? Did you even ever visit Africa? Did you like happen to pass by it while swimming in the ocean and see it? No, i didn't think so.
I once heard someone complain about the American government and how he lives in the projects and would rather be in Africa his true home. Well boo hoo! Do you even realize how people live in Africa? 90% of Africans would dream to live in the 'projects' it's like their dream house, you ungrateful idiot! So you better thank your government because in Africa they wouldn't give a rats ass about you. Although you share the same skin color as them. The 'whites' you hate treat you better than the 'blacks' in Africa.
