olivia is still in lebanon. it will take a long time for her to get out, since she's not a priority (especially since she's at AUB. the horrors she tells us about are still chilling, but she's contacted us a few times, and sounds more or less chipper if you don't mention the shit).
i ordered a 20 inch cheesy sticks from mad mushroom on friday.
i got to see gravy train on friday!!! and we watched king of the hill and the two of us couldn't stop laughing when hank tells bill (regarding ladybird): "you have to take her on a walk, because she doesn't like going in her own yard" and bill replies "i'm the same way"
i heard from olivia on saturday. i was sad and happy at the same time.
i went to a party for a short time on saturday. it seems that his friends (excluding jim rayray and erinraygunerin) have really warmed up to me. there were very cute black boys.
kaytlin looks like a sweet roll straight out of the oven. she is getting her own flickr account.
my father called me today because he missed me. and talked to me about his book (on rice, duh) and our big proper house in the philippines. my kuya has a proper nice paying job at WFP.
my mother bought me very cute mixing bowls at tj maxx.
i got a hot pink new coach bag in the mail as a present!!!!
i think codert likes me and is saving up for a pony.
i went to mass today. the homily was about suffering, and offering it up. and the priest said it's useless to tell anyone if they're in pain and if they're suffering that jesus had it worse. i liked that. it was nice that he said life doesn't come easy and that what we should think is that jesus came back in glory, because he didn't give up just yet. sorry to be a ham, but it made me smile.
