woo-hoo! I submitted my very first gun permit today! How exciting is that? I want to learn to hunt Mooses just like Governor Palin. That would be sweet.
Speaking of hunting animals (worst segue ever), either a fox or a coyote ravaged a rabbit on our front lawn. I went outside to pick up today's paper and saw a severely-eaten rabbit. All that was left was the paws and the spine. Creepy. I guess it's just a part of the food chain. After all, I have no qualms biting down on a juicy ribeye. Yum. I had rabbit once.
You see, when we were out grilling in the quad one day, one of the Marines went chasing after a rabbit. He set up the trap, caught the rabbit, and we grilled it. How cool is that? I think he is from Louisiana or somewhere hillbilly-ish. It was pretty dang cool.
