Our first CL match was definitely not what I was expecting, drawing at home against the Rangers and all. But aside from that disappointing display, what really bothered me the most was Valencia's injury. Still can't look at the pictures of his leg without flinching and I refuse to look at the video. I just felt so bad for him, he doesn't deserve this injury. Nobody does, really. But he's such a loss to our line-up and it's sad that he may be out for the rest of the season. That just breaks my heart. My favorite partnership last season was Rooney-Valencia and now I won't get to able to see that. I hope he recovers soon. We're all behind you, Antonio ♥
Segueing into more football talk, I'm so sick of draws. I know it's early in the season and all but we can't afford not to get full points (in the EPL) for matches especially when Chelsea have been doing well so far. I don't like comparing team performances but I can't help it. Match against Liverpool on Sunday will be interesting as always, and I'm kind of anxious about it. I just hope the boys won't be so down after the midweek CL match result. Or maybe they'll be so fired up to win after the whole draw thing. Please let it be the latter.
I'm still nursing a cold and a nasty sunburn on my shoulder from our beach trip last Sunday. I guess I was just too excited to be able to swim after so long that I kind of overdid it, oops. I'm feeling loads better now though, I think my cold is passing. For starters, my eyes are no longer swollen and I can smell again. AAAH. Time do down as much vitamin C as possible, I hate being sick. As for the sunburn, it's more itchy than it is prickly so I hope it will be gone soon too.
