(no subject)
So I haven't updated in forever. Here's whats shakin'.
I went to Austin on Monday for Transfer Orientation. Word to the wise: don't ever be a transfer student from UTD. UTD effed up a few times. They didn't put my AP scores on my transcript correctly. They put CHEM 4 hrs, HIST 6hrs; instead of putting what classes I recieved credit for. So the lady I needed to talk to wasn't there. Then my physics I class that I took w/ prereqs and coreqs consisting of calculus I and II respectively, isn't technically a physics based calculus course. I'm like WTF? So I left all of my physics notes with a person that also wasn't there.
While talking to my advisor, I realized that the classes I have credit for are spread sporadically over 4 semesters. So I take x hours this semester and then in the spring I'll only be able to take 10. That means I'm not a full time student, so no fin aid, and I'm breaking the 14 hour rule. (The 14 hour rule is a rule for full time students. If you are a full time student, you must take 14 hours and all 14 of those hours must be appilcable to my degree. So I can't take 5 dance classes in one semester because I currently think dance is my calling.) But if I can find a professor willing to waive my prereq requriements, I'm golden. So thankfully I've found one! And my fall is gonna be awesome like whoah!!
So besides orientation, patiently waiting my apartment assignment from Longhorn Landing, and working, life has been nice.
