(no subject)

There are a lot of children in Dresden, like very young children. Also pregnant women. That actually shouldn't be so much of a weird thing, but I'm not used to seeing lots of small children and lots of pregnant women in Germany. So very many baby strollers.

Anyway, that was just my weird observation for the morning.

I have the "early shift" again, but I came in a bit earlier because yesterday I left work exactly at 6pm. I just dropped everything and went home. Unfortunately I was kinda in the middle of something ("internet clipping"), so I needed to come in early to finish it (btw. "internet clipping" is like "newspaper clipping" except making screenshots of websites that are advertising or have put up press releases for our events, and it's soooooo much fun...)

abrupt subject change

I hate developing film, which is the main reason why I bought my shitty digital camera in the first place. Or so I thought. The first time I came to Germany, I think I took something like 24 rolls worth of pictures. My dad later had to take them to Sam's Club himself in order for them to get developed. In my three years at Smith, I probably only took about 6 rolls of pictures...them shits have yet to see the light of day. During my year in Hamburg, aside from a few polaroids...I hardly took any pictures (luckily other people took pictures for me). Given my past history, it kinda made sense to get a digital camera.

The only problem is that I either never remember to actually bring it with me anywhere, or if I do have it with me...I'm not really taking pictures with it. So, maybe it's not so much that I hate developing film, as that I just plain hate cameras.

The point I'm trying to get at: after spending 4 1/2 days in Berlin I only have ONE picture to show for it. Admittedly, most of the stuff I actually have a ton of pictures of (24 rolls my first time, remember?) but there's also a lot of new stuff that I could have put on the ol' light and shape capturing device. Instead I took a picture of a sign that was in front of the hairdresser next to our hotel. I totally misread it, and was perplexed for quite sometime. Then it was funny to me, so I took a picture of it.

It's probably not that funny to anyone but me...

because I've got the humor of an incredibly immature 15-year-old boy *sigh*

So without further ado, and no real explanation, here's the pic. You'll either get it or you won't, because the picture is kinda blurry.

ok, maybe a little close up might help...or maybe not

Again, I apologize and from now on will only use my camera for good. You know, like pretty buildings and landmarks, etc.
