I found an apartment!!!!!
It's in a great spot, walking distance to campus, pretty affordable, and it's snazzy cause it has a spiral staircase as an entrance. It has a big bedroom, a decent living room, smallish kitchen, and a small but very purple bathroom. The only thing that sucks is that the shower is shaped weird, but thank goodness I'm short, so it doesn't matter anyway. I also live on the third floor, but I see it as a bonus, because I get the staircase, and if I'm noisy, the older lady in the first floor might not notice. But I'm pretty quiet anyway. But I might want to have a party now and then. The second floor is where a twentysomething lives, so that should be cool.
And now I'm excited about decorations and furniture. So far, I have a recliner and a coffee table for the living room, a kitchen table (but no chairs) and a futon as a bed for my bedroom, so now I'm looking for chairs, a sofa, and a bureau, and maybe a desk. And if I have any money left after rent and other bills, I'm gonna decorate like crazy.
