I must be crazy, but I really had an awesome time in KFalls. There's no traffic, it's got tons of rolling hills, everyone has a pool, and enough cows to not make me feel badly about eating beef.
Despite popular belief, there is a TON of stuff to do in Kfalls. We went bowling, saw a movie, looked at the stupid resort (which has an ice skating rink of all things), rode horses, and ate at a couple of the local diners. I went to my first Farm Auction, which was crazy when a bull almost broke through the fence. They have fast food too, which is more than Monmouth had. I went to Dutch Bros. for the first time, and Amy and I got kahlua coffee. The dude there gave us a buttload of stickers and flirted and undercharged us for coffee b/c he thought we were cute. HELL YA!
Since Kfalls is 20 minutes north of California, we drove over the state line (I have pictures! yay) to where Candi's boyfriend's mom lives. We played with her dogs and went to Juanita Lake. It was WARM unlike the lakes in Oregon. There's a town called Weed, and I got a pic of one of the signs. Haha.
We went to 2 of the 3 bars (one sadly inside the bowling alley) and played pool. This guy bought me a shot AND didn't try to pick me up, which is the best of both worlds. Despite the delayed train, the amount of dust, some racist people, and the fact that we ended up smelling like dogs and horses, I had a great time.
We woke up at 5:30 two days in a row to take Tre, Candi's boyfriend to work, and we were laughing really hard in the car on account of how tired we were. It's good to be home though.
