Letter Home.

Bailie's letters are always to her father, generally only sent when she wants something - she's fortunate enough to enjoy regular visits home on her restdays, and really has no need for letters. Nevertheless:

Dear Father,

It has been almost three sevens since my last visit, and for this I'm sorry. I've been very busy, trying to catch up in my economics class - that last mark was indicative of my effort, I'm afraid. I've resolved to do better, Father, I promise. You can look forward to straight B's next report! Sykarin is putting in extra time with me, he's been wonderful. He won't be visiting with us next time I come home though, Father, he's found some fascinating new project with one of the other Harpers here. It is far beyond me, but I'm sure he'll write you with the details soon enough.

I have a favour to ask, Father. There is a friend I have here, he has been very good to me, and his turnday is almost upon us. I was hoping for you to send some extra marks my way, that I might find him a gift. I also have need of a new skirt, and some flat-soled sandals for visiting Boll.

I hope my letter finds you well, send my love to Mother and the boys. My next visit should be within the month, I hope! You may need to petition Sefton to give me some time off, if you miss me that terribly (and I'm sure you do).

Your loving daughter,
Bailie.
