Updates
I don't seem to update as much as I should. Oh well, I get to it when I can. Not a lot has been happening lately.. between working and whatnot, it's the same old same old. Romeo went to Nichole's house for a while. She is leasing him from us so he is down in Plymouth, MA. When he comes home he will be a "new man". He gets his Spring shots on April 27th. I'm gonna be going down to Plymouth next weekend (not this upcoming, but the weekend after) to visit and see how he's doing with his auntie Nichole. He was great the day he left. It was raining and gross outside, all muddy and nasty. He went right outside and walked right onto the trailer with NO questions or bad actions. He got his front feet up, stopped for 2 seconds, looked around and walked the rest of the way up. It was awesome, he did so good!! He survived the 3 hour trip to his new "home" with no issues and settled right in when he got to the barn he is at now.
Josh, my farrier, came up and put Sonia's steel shoes and pads on last night. Yay! She's got her "Air Sonia's" on as I call them. They are leather pads and steel horse shoes over them. I had them put on because her toe was disgustingly long and her heel was so worn down her poor hooves were at a 45* angle. She went the winter without any foot-work done so she did last a long time without trimmings. But now it's time to get her feet back to decent looking before the shows begin. *sigh*
Work is work. Not sure what to say about that. I am the only one from my "team" at work for the week. Every single issue that comes in that pertains to my "team" I have to handle. At some points its one after another with no time to breathe in between but there were some periods of rest between. Friday is off due to the holiday! WOOHOO!
I got my new phone yesterday. I sold the shitty LG Dare touch screen phone a few weeks ago. I hated that thing. The screen was so unresponsive sometimes. I ended up getting the Blitz. It's an OK phone, it has a full QWERTY keyboard but it's kinda bulky. It does serve the purpose that I was looking to get though so I can't complain. As long as it's not a touch screen I don't care.
Cassie's wedding is coming up soon. Had the Bachelorette party a few weekends ago at Foxwoods Casino. I had to call it an early night because Romeo was leaving the next morning and I had to be back to Agawam before they got there to pick him up. The 19th of April is the bridal shower and the 25th is the wedding party dinner. BUSY month for me! On April 17th-18th Damon and I will be in Plymouth visiting Nichole and Romeo. Another long weekend there!
May is gonna be busy.. the weekend of the 8th is Hudson Valley. Cassie's wedding is the 17th then the AHCC show is the weekend of the 22nd!!! Then in June is AHANE at the end of the month! I have a feeling the summer is gonna fly by. Now, if on the rain would stop coming so I can actually go to the barn and work with my horse.. maybe we'll be ready by May 8th!!!!
Damon and I are doing well. No issues are qualms. :)
Time to get ready for bed. I'm usually in bed by 9pm so it's time to shove off and get to it.
