Childish Games by Ella Quince is Mature. Ella Quince is a masterful writer and I've recced a few of her stories already. This story is told from Xena's POV as Gabrielle runs into an old friend from her youth who reveals something about Gabrielle that will irrevocably alter their relationship. Understated and perfectly paced, this story does astounding things with these two characters bringing them together in a fresh, unique way.
