it was so weird to wake up in my own bed this morning in me and monique's new place after having slept on so many strange floors in so many cities that i had never been to. we drove all night from albuquerque to denver and got in at about seven in the morning. i have seen the sunrise more times in the past week than i have all year. vegas, flagstaff, denver. it is pretty amazing to see how many basements and warehouses still have shows years after the whole d.i.y. touring thing started. i think the highlight cities for me we minneapolis and portland. minneapolis was so nice and everone there was great, and portland was nice too, but not quite like i had expected. it was nice to get to actually see some of the cities we played in like san francisco. ok, now i have got to move all of my stuff and clean a house in about ten days. fun
