“Young Lord, it’s time for your feeding.” A man, paler than a full moon on a clear night strode gently into the grand ballroom where a man, younger in physical age than the butler, but only a couple hundred years his junior. Yoongi had graced the earth with his presence 225 years old. His appearance was that of a 25 year old, leaving him with a well-defined body that would never wither away due to age or sickness. Seokjin was a vampire, like himself, who happened to come across Yoongi in a field during a raid. He was only a babe at that point. Seokjin took him in, cared for him and raised him to his full potential. On his 20 birthday, though, was when he asked his dear friend and mock father to truly take him to his full potential.

Now, Yoongi was adjusting rather well. The only problem he had with this new life style, was his boredom. He literally had his entire life to do anything he wanted, the only problem was the motivation. Nothing really set him off to craving an adventurous life in the world. And his little blood problem had also put a damper in any plans of traveling as well. So he was stuck. Stuck in a mansion that Seokjin had found, a dying man with a wish, an heir to leave the estate and wealth he created. Yoongi served the gentleman until his last breath. With papers already signed over to him, the rest is history.

Seokjin was placing the bottle of blood on the table, warmed up to a lifelike temperature. Beside such, was a bowl, with frozen grapes. While the food would do nothing for him, he enjoyed the texture of the crushed cold grape in his mouth. A human like trade that seemed to keep with him even after his change.

“Is there anything you wish to do today, sir?” Seokjin was holding himself all proper and upright. It didn’t suit him in the least. While Seokjin did act as his caregiver, he was also like an annoying older and dramatic brother.

“Jin, when are you ever going to stop this act? You know you’re not really my butler.” A slight trickle of blood trailed down his lips and onto his shirt. Jin noticed this and quickly went to the stain with a tissue in hand.

“You know, you went through all the trouble to get this home and money, living with the geezer for 3 years until you were 19. And you can’t even pretend with me.” His grumbling voiced sounded so whiny when things weren’t exactly his way.

“You know, if I didn’t know any better, I would say that you were more on the royalty side, princess.” The word was laced with teasing and it didn’t do anything to alter the image on Jin’s face.

“Yah! Just because I like pink and order, doesn’t mean I’m a princess.” His hand is on his hip, as if to prove a point. All it did was work against him.

“I’m bored! There is literally nothing that I want to do, and anytime I want to do something, you come along and squash my fun. I want a friend-” Jin rushed forward to yell at the younger, something about you have a friend, “A NEW friend, Jin. We’re alone and it’s depressing, as depressing as eternal life can really be. Don’t you miss it? Miss the laughter, smiles, skinship that didn’t feel like rock against your skin?!” Yoongi was moving around within his rant, thoughts racing through his mind.

At one point in his life, he had a friend. A maid who worked within the halls of the mansion. She was older, a noona, but someone who radiated warmth. Jimin was her name. Her long dark hair swished behind her as she carried a tray of medicine for the man. It has been awhile since he really thought of her, but when he did. Something trickled through his finger tips and it was sensational.

Intimacy? Unlikely to ever happen. Jin was so shy of anything like that. It flooded into Yoongi’s life. Lips never brushed against his own. Despite being ridiculously lazy, he was a romantic at heart. He longed for someone to spend his life with. Even if theirs was that of a human. The thought was fleeting and it only made him more depressed.

“Like anyone would take us seriously? I am a vampire,” Jin squaked in a silly voice, “I vant to suck your bloooooood.” Yoongi couldn’t help but laugh. Jin would do nearly anything to make the younger smile. The trait was something that kept the two together for this long.

“You can’t possibly expec-“ Yoongi froze suddenly. The smell, was something he had never encountered before. It smelled like fresh rain on the dirt ground. It was appealing, yet so foreign that nothing else could be thought of. He could sense two different heart beats, pounding as they made their way about two miles away from the mansion’s outskirts. It was a close enough distance that Jin could even smell it.

“What do we do, Jin?” Can we allow them in our territory? It wasn’t like they were attempting to keep anyone and everyone out, but it wasn’t like they could be the best of hosts, when they’re always thinking about what’s running in their veins.

“We just go and see what it is. I can’t tell, really. They’re fuzzy, but that’s it.” With that being said, the two boys headed out the back door, through the garden, over the maze, past the trees and nearing the lake. They reached the edge before the intruders had. They set themselves within the earth, in a stance that could be interpreted as strong. Birds were flying out of trees and into the sky, branches snapping with a force that was alarming.

Jin and Yoongi exchanged a look and prepared for the worst. When the two had entered the clearing and were within view, Yoongi stood up right. Walking closer, to get a better look, it seemed like. When Jin had said fuzzy, he thought that the image inside his mind was blocked with a filter over it, not that the two now staring back at them were indeed fuzzy. All over.

They’re wolves! Yoongi had never seen the creature in person, but it made him giddy all over.

They stood tall and carefully made their way to meeting point. When all four of them came face to face. He looked into their eyes, soft and brown, curious even. They exchanged a look once it was clear, no one was a threat to the other. A roar and some broken sounds later, the wolves were now human, or what looked like humans.

The larger one, with silver hair, that did match his fur a moment ago, spoke first. “I’m Namjoon and this,” he gestured to the smaller tan one. He was a little shorter than Yoongi but with such a muscly body, it seemed unusual for a human of his stature to look as such. “is my brother, Jimin.”

Jimin. That name. While the two looked nothing alike, the name still sent that same sensation into his fingers and it rippled through his body. Jimin seemed to noticed this and smile his way. He walked forward, muscles rippling as he moved, to extend a hand. When Yoongi took it, it felt safe. Warm, strong, and sturdy, something he always wanted. “What’s your name?”
At that moment, Jin pushed his junior further forward, towards Jimin. “I’m Seokjin, but you may call me Jin. And this is my friend, Yoongi.” Jimin took Yoongi’s hand and pulled him closer, into a hug. The action was confusing, but he didn’t do anything to stop it. “It’s great to meet you, Yoongi,” Jimin whispered gently in his ear. He relaxed into the embrace, only for it to be taken away.

“Jimin, you can’t be friendly like that with everyone! Some people don’t like it.” Namjoon smacked the smaller against the head with enough force to be pushed into the ground. This made Yoongi laugh. He wasn’t a wolf. He’s a puppy! Jin relaxed at the laughter, as did Namjoon. Jimin only looked up with those big brown eyes and a huge smile.

Some people may not like it, but Yoongi thinks he would be okay with it.
