Bleach
I keep coming back for more, and I don't know why sometimes.
But I actually kind of enjoyed the past chapters in this new arc. I'm still kind of bitter about the horribleness that infected and killed the last arc, but Bleach has been, I don't know, fun again? It hasn't been anything groundbreaking or amazing, but it's been entertaining to see things "back to normal" and watch Ichigo like power bomb his friends and his dad again.
I also, if you couldn't tell, love the subtle changes they made to Orihime's hair style. She's too cute, and I was really happy to see her again this chapter. While I wished she would've done more in the last arc, I never hate her because she's probably the only reason I'm still reading this series. Her amazing silliness was also back this chapter. Really, you don't know how happy it made me when she jumped out of the window and slid down the pipe or whatever it was because she saw Ichigo and Tatsuki. And her babble about her theme song... Orihime is too adorable and amazing. Whole paragraph dedicated to how adorable and amazing she is? Done.
I am a little disappointed, I have to admit. For a while, I kind of thought that Ichigo/Orihime was kind of becoming a canon thing. It's definitely my preferred pairing of choice, but I've been noticing that Ichigo/Rukia seems to be being more obviously displayed in these chapters. I'm so confused. The series started out obviously Ichiruki in my opinion, so I didn't have much hope for Ichigo/Orihime even though I greatly preferred it. Then it started making me think that Ichihime was going to happen, and now we're back again. Ah wellsers. I mean, I'm not one of those people who's going to rail against whatever pairing happens to be canon in the end and deny it, but I definitely can admit I have my preferences. And those preferences don't always turn out to be the canon choice.
