East meets West
Every day on my way to work I pass by this window.
I first thought it was a MudHead http://www.peabody.harvard.edu/katsina/58605.html from Zuni but I finally started looking at it closer and discovered it was a Budda made of terra cotta!
Yes, that is my reflection in the window and don't ya love the leaf poinsettias? Anyway, then I really started looking closer and fell in love with this guy.
How peaceful is he? I could believe what he said, I could be present, be mindful and let go of things. I'm glad I stopped to make his acquaintance!
