Getting a lil closer
Most of the tuckpointing is now finished. There are a few odds and ends left to do. The parapet is still up in the air. It's a matter of funds vs what I want vs.... Recycled limestone caps are in hand but not on site yet. There probably isn't enough cap material so it's going to be a matter of searching the architectual salvage yards now. I'm still looking for some decorate element to put on top of the house. I.E. gargoyles, lions, urns, acorns, balls, spires, etc.... Again I think I'm going to dig around the salvage yards and see what I can find since I'm not turning up anything that will work and that in my opinion is reasonably priced. I don't have 16K laying around to put into a decorative element on the house. Yesterday the painter started. I spent about ten minutes looking at paint chips and this is what I came up with in the way of colors. I guess that art degree was finally put to use. lol
