So this morning I woke up knowing that I made the day special for seven kids with hiv here in St. Louis. This year I managed to donate 7 bikes. 4 boys and 3 girls with locks as well as assorted oversized stuffed animals and a few odds and ends. I know of several people all over the midwest that got stuck where they were and didn't make it home. For some home was in another state, others it was just across town. Look at it this way, it could have been much worse. You could have been stuck in an airport somewhere with Sabarro and Starbucks providing your xmas dinner.
