So I hit the gym today. Ran for thirty minutes on the treadmill, then did my usual strength training routine for my upper body. Back in the day, I wouldn't go near chest exercises because heaven forbid my boobs shrink down to an A cup. I wanted all the fat I could get in that area. Until I got the dress I plan on wearing for all the weddings this summer. It's one of those strapless bandeau-style dresses in basic black. I tried it on a month ago, and like, tons of fat was creeping out over the top, and it looked gross. So begrudgingly, I decided that chest exercises were a good thing. And it might be my imagination, but when I tried the dress on yesterday, it looked like there wasn't as much fat creeping out! So I guess I'm a bit more confident about wearing it Saturday at Jamie's wedding. Besides, I've got a lacy shawl I can hide behind if I'm feeling self-concious.

I also decided I deserve at least something for working out eight days straight, so I splurged and had McDonalds for dinner. Double Quarter Pounders are my ultimate weakness. And I know I can work most of it off tomorrow. I do, however, find it hysterical that McDonalds is pretending to be healthy now. Between getting rid of the SuperSize, and adult Happy Meals with pedometers as the toy, it's just funny.

So tonight, I'll be coloring my hair the usual chocolate cherry color. Ken's off creating a D&D character with some dude that lives around the corner, so I'm left to my own devices. I guarantee, though, that I'll be asleep before 11 tonight. The run took almost everything out of me.
