All good things... truly must come to an end. As of yesterday, I have successfully watched every episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation though I am still left with the 4 movies which will finish off the series for good. My quick review of the movies will be forthcoming in a separate entry. I will also give my final thoughts on this series as a ( Read more... )

No problem! I'm glad you got a chance to read and comment here.

Yeah, it's a shame the 7th season was probably the weakest of them all. The episodes you like are good ones though. :)

I know... Wesley and Ro deserved better. What made me laugh about Wesley is his quick showing in the movie "Nemesis". I mean, he travels the universe with The Traveler and no one cares! I'd be like, "Holy Shit Wesley! You got to see the universe with The Traveler! What was it like? Was it worth leaving Starfleet for?" I really did not like that final episode with Wesley and him like "All of a sudden Starfleet no longer interests me... despite obsessing wanting to be a great Engineer for the entire series... yeah... great writing guys!" and bringing in the whole Native American thing. It was just capitalizing at the time of putting positive portrayals of Natives (likely from the success of "Dances With Wolves") that it made me roll my eyes. Ro was the same way. That expression Picard gives at the very end in which he says nothing and just looks so saddened and disappointed at the same time mirrored my own feelings. I bet Patrick Stewart was thinking in that scene, "I'm very disappointed in how they kicked her off the show."

Can't say which season is my definite favourite. Probably 3 and 4 I noticed the best improvement.

I wish I had that blacksmith bear as my co-worker... have some hot private time in MY janitor closet! WOOF! :)

Glad you enjoyed the reviews! Star Trek: Deep Space Nine will be starting probably sometime in the winter and I'll be reviewing each season again. As for the Star Trek reboot movies, still need to review them as promised.
