Ohhhh...Anderson playing with the little kids in the bomb shelter...he is so adorable. I feel bad noticing this in the middle of a rather serious report about the escalating war in the middle east, but Anderson is just that awesome.
Fuck people who say he's just trying to promote his career. As cynical as I am, I find Anderson's undying faith in the beauty of humanity quite honest and refreshing. I hate that people misinterpret his caring so much about the stories he reports on as fake and self-promotional. He could've had the most lavish life in the world, bumming off his mom or something...and he chose at the age of 17 to go to foreign war-torn countries and report. Just because he's successful doesn't mean he's as corrupted as the rest of the media.
Sorry if no one wanted to hear that. I read a few articles earlier today that just tore him apart. And especially after his interview with Angelina Jolie...and Tucker Carlson tore into him for his Dave Chappelle interview...personally, I think that's just something along the lines of penis envy on Carlson's part, but still. What a dick.
