How do you feel about your new job as a Waldorf teacher?

I am really excited about it!

I am really excited about it! I have met all the other staff and it seems like we are going to be a good team. I am getting paid to do home visits for all of my students, which seems like a great way to establish positive connections with the kids before the school year starts, and the whole staff is going to Sacramento to get trained in Waldorf methods. It seems like I will have a lot more flexibility and creative input into the curriculum than if I were working at a public school, particularly at the public schools I've interviewed at, which were mainly Reading First schools.
