I hope you don't go, I like seeing your posts and chatting with you. As for what you post, well, my blog is about 80% fannish stuff - fics and art and memes, interspersed with waffling about my life... I don't think I've ever posted something about a tragedy, not because I don't care but because I don't see that it would help - unless I'm posting a link to a donation site or something maybe? But even then, I'm more likely to share it on tumblr where I know more people are likely to see it and pass it on. And if someone doesn't want to see my posts on their feed, well, there's plenty of ways to filter that.

There are thousands of reasons why someone might feel obligated to comment on one tragedy and not another, or hurt about the lack of general response to one but not another (I can pretty much guarantee on every tumblr post about a tragedy there will be at least one commenter outraged that something 'hasn't got more notice', regardless of how much it's actually got... I try to make a point of not reblogging those comments). But no-one can respond to every tragedy, or wants to respond to it by making a post on livejournal about it.

So, I think the point of this is - I like your posts, I hope you can let go of the distress this has caused you, and please stay :)
