What is funny?

I do the meme thing sparingly, but I was intrigued by this one. It's a three variable test to type your sense of humor. The three scales are light/dark, vulgar/clean, and simple/complex.

the Prankster

(45% dark, 33% spontaneous, 5% vulgar)

your humor style:
CLEAN | COMPLEX | LIGHT

Your humor has an intellectual, even conceptual slant to it. You're not pretentious, but you're not into what some would call 'low humor' either. You'll laugh at a good dirty joke, but you definitely prefer something clever to something moist.

You probably like well-thought-out pranks and/or spoofs and it's highly likely you've tried one of these things yourself. In a lot of ways, yours is the most entertaining type of humor because it's smart without being mean-spirited.

PEOPLE LIKE YOU: Conan O'Brian - Ashton Kutcher

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 83% on dark

You scored higher than 0% on spontaneous

You scored higher than 0% on vulgar

The most interesting thing to me? I agree on the finding for me (light/complex/clean), just not what that finding was labeled. Because I'm not a prankster. I hate practical jokes. I like intellectual, mostly clean stand-up like Woody Allen, Bob Newhart, Bill Cosby, Mort Saul, The Smothers Brothers, Tom Lehrer, etc. The only contemporary stand-up performer I really enjoy is Eddie Izzard, although I have liked George Carlin and Steven Wright from time to time.

Oh, and I guess I really am a prudish bore, just like my sister claims, because I scored the lowest of my age and gender range on spontaneity and vulgarity.
