Hi all,
I'm going to Morocco in a few weeks and from what I've seen Arabic and French are both major languages in the country. I'm flying into/out of Casablanca, but am interested in taking a train to/from Marrakech. I have two questions about that:

1) Does anyone know if it's easy to get a seat just by showing up at the train station the day of travel, or is an advanced purchase necessary?

2) I can speak fairly decent French, but I'm wondering if the people selling tickets will speak English, French and/or Arabic. If they're more likely to speak Arabic, I was wondering if anyone knows how to say: "I would like to buy a second class ticket to (city: Marrakech/Casablanca).

Thanks in advance.
