(no subject)
havnt made an entry in this thing in since before vacation. time to catch up.
New Hampshire as pretty good, got to ski a lot, which is always good. i think i ended up going 4 or 5 times, and hey, no rides in the ambulance thisn year.. woo. although i cant even remember how many meatwagons i saw at the mountain picking up people that killed themselves. as much as it was nice to go away and ski, kinda sucked being away for the entire vacation. ive always hated it. i dont think ive had a vacation where i got to actually see friends in years. feb vacation is always new hampshire, and the past few april vacations were driving ryan back and forth to college, with the exception of going to disney last year for band. needless to say it kinda blew going 2 weeks without seing alanna. however, we came back saturday night because my mom wanted a day at home before we went back to school. so on sunday i went to see kayleigh's concert in providence, who is in the providence singers. they were really really good, and it was a good time minus the uncomfortable seating. afterwards we met kayleigh at chillies because we were all starving. good food, good time. afterwards, kayleigh went home to crash and sleep after a long day, and alanna and i went to 'texas chainsaw', where the curse was broken =]
school was very blah all week, although i thoroughly enjoyed that snow day on tuesday. i ended up staying awake all night and not sleeping at all. no reason really, didnt have work to do, just didnt sleep. i was tempted to deprive myself of sleep another night just out of curiousity of what would happen to me. according to avery after 48 hrs or so you start having trouble with the alphabet. sadly i died on the couch after about 35 hours of being awake. someday during the summer, i wanna try and actually do it, and just stay awake as long as possible and see what happens. i think the record is like 11 days or so without sleeping. crazy.
worked friday. colleen picked me up, and then we proceeded to eat mac and cheese when we got to work that she made for us. i thought i was gonna get out of work, too many ppl where there and i was gonna be sent home, but he let some one else leave instead. i was kinda pissed, i was already changed back into normal clothes and going to punch out, happy to be going home to my bed.
saturday i slept in, and then my aunt came over to do christmas stuff cause we havnt seen her since. got 50 bucks, which is good cause im broke. after, went down to see lanna. we didnt really know what to do cause she was supposed to sleep over a friends house and be there around 930, and we didnt get out of her house untill like 7 cause her mom made her eat dinner. i just kinda sat there and waited, was really awkward, it was like dead silence. when we finally escaped, we went to starbucks, at which point her friend heather called my cell, and the sleepover plans fell through, meaning i had at least another 2-3 hours with her, which ended up being really nice.
unc beat duke. HAH. take that arie.
tomorrow should be a snow day. i dont care if we've already had like 5. i want another. i refuse to have a full week of school.
