valentines day pretty much consumed my weekend, which was a good thing.
SUNDAY, which i left out by accident. slept till about 12, and woke up to alanna calling and saying we will be at your house in 40 minutes. lanna danni and jill had to go to the stonehill library to do research for a big term paper, so i went along on the adventure. jill's cousin's friend was a senior there and met up with us. i dont remember her name, so ill just call her Amy to make things easier. she was really nice, helped us all get set up on computers and made sure that they had everything they needed and were doing okay. after doing work for a few hours she showed us her dorm, and then we headed over to get some lunch. Amy was a nice and paid for us all, and then we proceeded to stuff our faces with pizza. turns out jill is a tank when it comes to downing assloads of food, which is funny, because she isn't even 5 ft tall. the rest of the night was consumed with doing hw and then going to get some flowers and groceries at shaws.
friday- after school i went to pick up some more materials i needed for saturday night, and then went home and got to work. liz came over and kept me company while i worked for awhile and brought me some stuff to use in my car to help decorate it. what i wanted to do was essentially recreate our first date, which was getting thai food and eating it on the beach. seings how theres snow and its freezing out, i thought id bring the beach to her by decorating the inside of my car to be like one. liz and i had a nice talk while i made some posters to put in the car. was nice, havnt gotten to hang out with her in awhile. the rest of my night untill about 4 in the morning was working on part 2 of her gift. i took a fish bowl and lined the inside with some pictures and important dates, and backed it with contruction paper, so that it was almost like a big curcular frame. on the inside, i put a bunch of things i love about her on seperate pieces of paper. its works nice, cause i can just kinda keep adding more things to it all the time.
saturday- lanna called to wake me up around 9, and after lying in my bed a bit, back to work i went. finished making the things that go in the bowl, and then when i went to print off the pictures to be seen from the outside, my printer color died. after going to andrews house and his computer having a virus, i called around. eventually just drove across town to avery's and got everything printed. finished the bowl stuff around 4, and then it was on to putting my car together. put a beach towel on the seat, 2 posters up, and then put down candles. put like 5 on the thing inbetween the front seats and put tape on the bottom of them so they wouldnt slide off, and cause my car to ignite.
drove down to swansea, dropped off avery, picked up the thai food, and then got lanna around 7. right as we got outside, i tied a blindfold around her head so she wouldnt see the inside of my car or where we were going. drove around town for a bit so she wouldnt know where we were going, and then finally went to the beach. put headphones on her head with a playlist i made earlier on my ipod so she wouldnt hear me getting everything else ready. lit all the candles, got out some sparkling cider in nice wine glasses, put out sea shells around the candles, and then told her to put her legs up on me. took off her shoes, put a box of sand where her feet went, and then put them in it, and took off the blindfold. after sitting there smilling for a few minutes, we ate the thai, and then got visited by the swansea police. being the innocent child i am, when he asked what was in the cooler i thought he just wanted a drink or something, cause he didnt really sound suspicious and was being nice. so im like umm well i have pepsii, orange sodaaa, oh and water too. after he left lanna laughed at me and was liek he meant booze! haha. im retarded. o well. we exchanged gifts, and she seemed to like the fish bowl, so that was cool. i got a teddybear with a note saying cuddle during extreame withdrawels (i call her lannabear), a cd of songs that were important to us, and then instead of an insert listing hte songs, there was a big quote from each song that stood out, which was really cool. then there was some sort of flower, i dont think she even knew what it was, and then last but not least, a really nice photo album thing. it had a bunch of black and whites she had taken with her digital camera, all of things that were important to us or had some kind of meaning. loved it=]. afterwards, she went home to change out of her skirt, and then we went to 'texas chainsaw' as it as been dubbed. stayed there for a few hours. really nice time =]
Monday - i had planned on driving down to swansea after school to suprise lanna with a rose, and had picked one up sunday night. my mom wasnt going to let me go, so i threw teh rose away rather then just giving it to her for valentines day. during school, i got one of those crush things with a heart note from lanna. during chem, i asked schleich to go to the bathroom and then just sought out my mom, and made her feel like a scumbag untill she changed her mind and let me go. i left school 15 mins early and started heading on down to swansea. i called danni's cell so i could talk to lanna and say happy valentines day, and told her that i wasnt able to come and i had science team now. danni managed to stall alanna at school in the yearbook office untill i was able to get there, and left the room saying her mom was dropping something off so she could meet me at teh front door. we walked up stairs, and then i popped in the room with a rose in hand and suprised her. haha, she was really really happy and smiley. hung out in the yr book office for a bit, during which time at least 6 ppl from their track team came up, cause i guess they all saw me walk in the the flowers. then we went and got ice cream at friendly's, which ended up being free thanks to kayleigh. dropped lanna back at danni's house and then headed home.
