miracle on 34th st.
great news everyone! i've found where i'm going to live for the next year and it's BE-A-UUUTIFUL! one bedroom!
-hardwood floors
-crown molding walls and ceiling
-12 foot ceilings
-giant windows!
-three closets!
- my own bathroom!
-intercom
-any type of pet allowed!
-my own fire escape!
-24 hour sushi downstairs on the corner!
-laundry
off of beautiful quiet street!
-close to express trains!
-in a totally good neighborhood
-30 mins max to the city!
yay me!
no more couches!
no more living out of suitcases! no more living month to month with shady landlords! yay!

charisse once said "you have to struggle in order to appreciate living here". damn was she right. it's taken me nearly 8 months and loads of struggle to appreciate how wonderful it is to hear your broker on the other end of the phone telling you that you have an apartment in NEW YORK!
amazing.
so that means i will be down in florida next month to pick up my furniture, which has been sitting in storage for the last 8 months and my dog, who has been living with "voldemort" for the last 8 months.

i'm house sitting for my friend in mid town right now.
she works as an editor for DC comics. her apartment is awesome. because it's right in the middle of the city...it's cool because this is the view from her room..
yeah, yeah...
i took the pics with my lame ass blackberry.. sue me for quality would ya!
ha!
oh and just last hour i was up the roof sunbathing like this...(lord knows i need it..)
ahhh. this is the life!
oh and i took this pic a month or two ago.. but this is what i see while walking to work.. jealous?
well.. i'm gonna go grab some lunch.. and try to remeber all the other things i want to write about.
