Hot Damn!
Sometimes, events happen faster than you expect.
I'm moving next weekend into a house whose lease will actually be under my name. The deposits are just last month's rent, and I'm able to stretch the payment of it over the next four months. It's a two bedroom, one bathroom with full basement and garage and a loft over the garage. The rooms are kinda small, but the loft is kind of ghetto. What I'm thinking is that the one roommate (who is the brother of my landlord) will get the loft with his dogs, and I'll take larger bedroom and turn the smaller into an office/library. Originally I was thinking of taking the loft, but I really don't like the idea of having to navigate through dog mines (roommate has 3 dogs) to go inside to use the bathroom. Besides, like I said, it looks kinda ghetto.
Money is going to be a little tight for a couple of months, but in the long run this move is going to be beneficial for me on multiple levels. The owner is going to be out in the next couple of days, so I'll be able to move in next weekend. I'll have four days off, and the new roommate has a truck.
A house. MY house. Fuck me, but I like the sound of that.
I'm not leaving Bob high and dry. I've managed to arrange it so that this month's rent is covered, and I've made other arrangements to help him, financially, over the next few months.
I can't wait to have people over at my house.

The neighborhood...kinda poopy. SE 75th and Duke. Doesn't matter, though. I'm stoked.
