Quick update
Just a little update on how things are going.
Throat is hashed because of a water leak at work. Apparently a bathroom in an "unused" commercial area upstairs is having issues, and has spouted nasty grey poo-smelling water in our prep department. Last night, maintenance crews used so much ammonia and other harsh products that today, my throat is raspy and sore. I'm complaining like a mo-fo when I get into work today.
Also- bonus was not on this check. I was dismayed. Hopefully it will be on the next one. I'm also getting concerned that I haven't had my 90 day review yet, what with it being more than 180 days since I've been rolled over.
Good news- Ryan has been doing so well in his school that they are moving him to a new school. Starting Monday. Ryan went for a visit yesterday, and apparently at this school whenever there's a new kid in a class, every other kid in the class makes a couple pages in a "welcome" book that has a picture of the kid, and a little introduction personally written. When he was showing me his new classmates, I saw a kid that looked a bit familiar, and then when I looked at the name I said "Hey, I think I know this kid's mom." After all, how many kids that age are named Gage Solomon? So Megan... when your kid starts complaining about the new kid in his class, that'd be my roommate Bob's boy. ;D
Melody and Jay are having a baby today! That's so awesome. I'll try to visit the hospital sometime in the next day or two, once things have settled down some. Can't wait to meet Noah, guys.
There's some other stuff, but as always, work awaits. I'm going to try to get out of work early tonight, because of my throat. And because some people are going out after work, and invited me along if they're still out when I get off...which isn't likely if I get off at 8:30, since they get off at 4. If I can bounce at 6, though, it'll all be swell.
